Great plan! I’m doing the same every step of the way just asking GOD “is this what you want for me?” just to make sure I’m doing what HE wants for me to do in my life instead of telling HIM what I want. All in all we should move away from what we want to do and instead what is pleasing to HIM. Really we should sit back and enjoy the ride all the best to u!

I loved this. Especially #1. As humans we do this too well and as Christians this is definitely a trait to be left behind. Every time i notice myself going there I remember that GOD has carried me this long with opportunities and blessings beyond my imagination. So what is wrong with me waiting on HIM to prove HIMSELF again (like I know HE will). I vow to work on my patience bc I know that will definitely help with that worry because during the midst of being patient GOD’s will occurs – a wonderful mercy

Good post, and great list! I have been struggling with the same of what to do for Lent this year. Most people know my issues with food anyway, so I’m trying to stray away from that this year since it’s a lifetime hurdle.

I’m thinking I’m going to not having a plan for once. I stress myself trying to figure it all out at once. For example, I haven’t even left for overseas yet, but about five different people can tell you what I said I’m going to do once I get back! I’ve been living like life is a game of chess, and there’s no way I can predict God’s move. I really need to stop trying.

I think for the next 40 days, I’m going to focus on the task at hand and nothing more.
